Wing in the New Year

Recipes for two marinades for wings that I made for a New Year's Day party.

Dr. Barbecue Wings
2 1/2# chicken wings
8 oz. hickory smoke barbecue sauce
4 oz. Dr. Pepper
2 T. Dijon mustard
1 or 2 T. hot sauce
2 tsp. Mrs. Dash extra spicy seasoning blend (or red pepper flakes)

Asian Orange Wings
2 1/2# chicken wings
6 oz. LaChoy garlic ginger stir-fry sauce
6 oz. orange marmalade
2 T. soy sauce
4 oz. water

Directions: Place wings in a gallon-size Ziploc baggie. Whisk together the marinade ingredients; pour into baggie. Seal the baggie and lay flat on a baking sheet. Refrigerate for about 24 hours, occasionally turning the bag to coat the wings.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove wings from marinade and spread in a single layer on baking sheet. Cook 40 minutes.

Sorry...no pic. Photos from the cell phone made them look a very unappetizing shade of purplish grey!
